Abstract
The Blightwood is a dark fantasy novel that follows a young mouse named Nomi as she deals with past traumas and attempts to find her way in a cursed forest full of dangers. The novel itself uses animals as the main cast of characters, but also uses Chernobyl as a supernatural setting and radiation as a cursed, magical force that permeates the land.
