In Memoriam of William A. Herbert

Even as we are profoundly saddened by Bill Herbert's sudden passing, we are pleased, as we know Bill would be, to announce the publication of Volume 17 of the National Center's Journal of Collective Bargaining in the Academy, of which Bill was such a tireless champion, supporter, and superb contributor. We have lost a dear friend, a lover and sharer of history and music, and a wonderful man dedicated to the best of what scholarship and shared community between labor and management can be for the betterment of a more democratic and just higher education and society.
