Student Challenge: E-Sport Smash Bros Tournament

Hosted by EIU E-Sport RSO and EIU Comic Fest

This is a student-only participation event (Students from 6th grade up through college are welcome to register). Non-students are welcome to watch the tournament.

Walk up registration will be accepted at the event site (see location above) until 9:45 AM.

  • Hosts Austin Perez Ackerman and Ian McCormack will explain the event style/rule set in detail during the tournament setup (see event schedule below)

🕒 Event Schedule

  • 9:00 AM – Set Up
  • 10:00 AM – Tournament Begins
  • 4:00 PM – Winners announced, Photos taken, and Prizes awarded

🎁 Prizes

  • 1st Place: A trophy and a gift card
  • 2nd – 4th Places: A gift card
  • 1st to 3rd Places: A trophy and a free large Dominoes pizza
  • 4th to 10th Places: A free large Dominoes pizza

👀 Additional Info

  • Spectators welcome, but may not assist players during games, or distract players
  • Friendly and casual environment – great for both veterans and newcomers
