The photo above shows one of the medical exam rooms that resides in the EIU’s Student Medical Clinic. This photo is powerful because it demonstrates one of the main resources that students rely on for their health conditions while being away from home. The Medical Clinic also offers student insurance plans that can be extremely useful for students that are uninsured through their parents. For many students, this resource is their only option due to a lack of transportation, insurance, and easy accessibility to other options. Given that the campus clinic is exclusive to students, it targets and is dedicated to their health primarily.
