Abstract
Original political cartooning contributes to the research literature on social studies education, specifically the emergent field of authentic instruction and assessment. This book explores teachers' intentional instructional practices that facilitate students' technological creativity, historical thinking, and criticality. The research investigates method, product, and their impact on learning. I view original political cartooning to be a small yet significant contribution of this field.
