This photo can represent the health options that are provided through the 172616. In the top shelves you can see the boxes of bananas that are given to the food pantry as a healthy option for students. Not pictured, but the EIU pantry has a section that has more fruits that they provide. This demonstrates the determinant of food with an access to healthy options. A suggestion for improving this situation would be to limit what the food pantry chooses to accept when it comes to healthy options. It is great that anything is being donated, but there are some options that do not benefit students. It is understandable that they do not receive their ideal donations every time, but as shown in the photo the many drink that are provided are not always the best for students.
