Description
This is a picture of the EIU food pantry that serves many of the students at EIU. In the photo it shows a few of the cereals that is provides for students and plenty of drinks that students can grab and go. The social determinant that it is representing is the food determinant, and more specifically focusing on the hunger aspect in the Charleston, EIU community. A lot of college students struggle when it comes to finding food since not many are able to have a job while studying. The EIU food pantry is excellent when it comes to helping students that struggle and the only suggestion to give is to find more ways to reach out to other students or faculty members to donate more goods or finding new ways to encourage more people to donate.
