The photo above illustrates the economic stability of the SDOH category. The picture shows snippets of some of the expenses a student has during their stay in apartments/dorms, etc. As a student, we are limited in what we can spend our money on and have to constantly worry about the expenses that need to be covered apart from the tuition. As a student who lives in one of the apartments near the university, I believe the students are being taken advantage of as they are required to pay for most of the bills in addition to paying a large amount of rent. Becoming aware of such an issue and lowering some of the expenses could really help the students.
