Here we have a sign that is located just off the main square in downtown Charleston. To some we may just see a pawn shop or another resale store, but what we don’t see is the underlying message that this sign is showing to the youth and young adults that bypass this store every day by bus or walking. This relates to all of us who have ever wanted something but couldn’t afford it. This just shows how easy it is to acquire things such as firearms in our community. There need to be more regulations on the buying and selling of firearms in communities where the youth take in these things daily.
