Plot Synopsis
"Poor Marco! Although he is cheerful and good-hearted, he is not good at all the things that princes are supposed to be good at. Oh, he's not exactly stupid! But then, neither is he exactly as brilliant as a prince ought to be. However, Marco does have his good points! In fact, he has three great accomplishments. And when he is sent on a quest to rescue a beautiful princess, he discovers that his strengths far outweigh his weaknesses, and that having good friends can be a wonderful thing." Based on the short story in The Practical Princess and Other Liberating Fairy Tales by Jay Williams Children's Tour course on-campus public performance. The class will take this performance on the road the week of April 13-17 visiting schools in the 9 county area. Appropriate for grades K-5. Last approximately 1 hour.
