Description

This study examines how socioeconomic status influences voter turnout in the United States, focusing on factors such as income, education, and economic perceptions. The theory behind this research suggests that individuals with higher socioeconomic status have greater access to resources, political knowledge, and civic engagement opportunities, which increases their likelihood of participating in elections. Based on this, the hypothesis is that individuals with higher income and education levels are more likely to vote than those with lower socioeconomic status. Additionally, individuals with more positive or stable economic perceptions are expected to demonstrate higher levels of voter participation.
