Abstract
This paper was written to set forth a philosophy of physical education, aims and objectives, facilities and eequipment, regulations, plans of instruction, grades and ideas concerned with setting up a realistic physical education curriculum for boys in a small high school--that being one with an enrollment of less than three hundred. such a school is not always, but frequently, a consolidated unit in a rural area. Because of its smallness, the number of faculty is small. In such a limited teacher situation, the school class schedule results in the phfs1cal education instructor teaching all physical education courses and possible other courses which will limit the time that could be spent with pupils on physical education problems.
