Nine guests representing libraries in South Africa visited Booth Library on the Eastern Illinois University campus on March 9, 2009.
The visitors were serving as participants in the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs in Urbana. While at EIU, the group had lunch, toured Booth Library and visited with various library department officials.
Visiting were:

- Cyrill Walters, music specialist librarian, University of Cape Town
- Mandy Wood, cataloguing librarian, University of Cape Town
