Booth Library on the Eastern Illinois University campus hosted library officials from South Korea and Nigeria during three-day programs in 2006.
Joseph Aina, university librarian, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and Misbahu Katsina, university librarian, Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria, visited May 17-19.
Sungbae Lee, head of library planning, management and information systems, Central Library, Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, South Korea, visited Oct. 18-20.
The guests met with several library faculty and staff, and toured the library, campus and the City of Charleston.
The visits were made possible through the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs in Urbana.
