Two library officials from Colombia visited Booth Library on the Eastern Illinois University campus from Oct. 14-16, 2004.
Gloria Maria Parra Mora, librarian with Universidad Pedagogica y Technologica de Colombia in Tunja, and Gonzalo Rincon Gomez, manager of Banco de la Republica, SUC in Florencia, were participants at the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs in Urbana.
While at EIU they toured the library, met with representatives of various library departments, visited the Charleston Carnegie Public Library, attended a show at the Little Theatre on the Square in Sullivan and attended the EIU Homecoming parade, among other activities.
