DADE COUNTY: 25°29.910'N 80°34.46'W west of the Homestead General Aviation Airport; 1.1 miles west of SW 217 Avenue (at SW 280 Street to east) on dirt road, then ca 0.4 mile south (following outer airport fence), then 1 mile west to just east of Everglades National Park boundary fence. Disturbed-looking rocky glade with small scattered Jow copses of trees (Metopium, Conocarpus, Tetrazygia, Guapira, Randia, few Pinus); with Cladium, Panicum spp., Heliotropium polyphyllum, Anemia adiantifolia, A. wrightii. Also with Schoenus nigricans, Byrsonima lucida, Sperrnacoce Lippia stochaedifolia, Anagadenia, Polygala grandiflora. Shrubby trees 2-4 m tall; Oowers dull yellowish-white, fragrant.
