Eta Sigma is the National Health Education Honorary. The mission of Eta Sigma Gamma is promotion of the discipline by elevating the standards, ideals, competence and ethics of professionally prepared individuals in Health Education.
The Beta Nu Chapter of Eastern Illinois University became a national charter member on April 18, 1982. We were the 60th chapter to be installed in the United States. Beta Nu Chapter received the Service Activity of the Year Award in 1994, The Chapter of the Year Award in 1995, and the Teaching Activity of the year Award in 1999.
The Beta Nu Chapter of ESG is the active health education honorary at Eastern Illinois University. We invite you to participate in some of our chapter activities such as teaching, research, and service projects; student/faculty collaborated projects, volunteers opportunities, professional conference attendance, professional involvement opportunities, job and intern information, etc.
