Abstract
This article argues that ABC's Grey's Anatomy is an example of a postmodern prime-time feminist soap opera following in the footsteps of Sex in the City & Desperate Housewives. Through analysis of key characters and plots and attention to strategic genre blending practices, this essay discusses the impact that this show has on contemporary audiences.
