This community collects photos and documents of the EIU Comic Fest, held Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Booth Library.
The 2025 Comic Fest featured keynote speakers Craig Titley, Mattoon HS and EIU alum and now Hollywood screenwriter of such movies as the live action Scooby Doo and Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief, and Paul Niemeyer, video game artist, theme park designer, and escape room artist. This was Paul's 100th convention show!
Extensive regional outreach and public relations efforts on social media, DEN interviews, and on WEIU's "Issues and Attitudes" show resulted in an outstanding 1,300 persons attending the EIU Comic Fest throughout the day.
