The Daily Eastern News (DEN)

The Daily Eastern News (DEN) is produced by students representing many majors at Eastern Illinois University. It is currently published daily online, with a weekly print edition. Originally the DEN was published daily Monday through Friday in Charleston, Ill. during fall and spring semesters and occasionally during the summer.

The Daily Eastern News, which regularly wins numerous national and state awards, was named the best student news organization for the past two years by College Media Association while its website has earned top honors from CMA, Illinois College Press and Society for Collegiate Journalists the past several years. The DEN has garnered more than 120 awards during the past three years alone.
