Posted on the Booth Library Facebook page on 3/20/2020 with the following caption:
EIU students, faculty and staff: As stated in President Glassman's announcement yesterday, Booth Library will be OPEN from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday for the remainder of the semester. Please know that we are taking appropriate measures for the safety of our patrons and staff. Library staff routinely sanitizes public spaces, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the building. Our computer labs have been adjusted to allow for social distancing, with only every other computer available for use. All library patrons are encouraged to follow social distancing guidelines and leave at least 6 feet of space between yourself and others. Of course, we encourage accessing library services online whenever possible, to limit the number of public interactions in library spaces.
