Black and white photograph of President Gilbert C. Fite (1971-1976) and President Quincy V. Doudna (1956-1971) posed standing next to the campus name sign, which reads: Eastern Illinois University, Founded in 1895.
The sign, located by the flagpole in front of Old Main facing north, was erected in 1964.
