Description

Black and white image. (Title from image caption: The School Garden. Photo published in 1919 Warbler yearbook.)

From Norma Winkleblack's Buildings and Grounds Historical Data: "During the early years, Training School students each had a small plot for growing vegetables and flowers in a garden located south of Blair Hall, with prizes awarded annually for the best results. The project was supervised by Walter Nehrling, superintendent of grounds […]. After his death in 1932, the school garden was discontinued and the located used for an ornamental flower garden."
