Black and white photograph of the newly opened Pemberton Hall, exterior view looking southwest.

Named for Stanton C. Pemberton, the state senator who championed the construction of this first residence hall in Illinois (built 1907-1908), Pemberton Hall was opened for occupancy in January 1909. .

Original photograph from a senior scrapbook that was handed down from class to class. Size of unfinished print, mounted, is 3.25 x 5.25 inches.
