In this video we continue our discussion of fluid dynamics. We discuss conceptually how sail boats are capable of sailing into the wind, and how air plane wings are capable of generating lift. We then discuss laminar and turbulent flow. Introducing Poiseuille's Law, we work an example to show how plaque build-up in arteries can cause decreased blood flow.
