This is a photo of the health and human services here on EIU’s campus. The health and human services building is a representation of provider linguistic and cultural competency because of the many different people that walk through the doors and can be helped no matter their background. When a facility can care for anyone, it is the epitome of great health care in any community because the providers can understand and work through anyone’s cultural background and as well as able to understand any differences someone may have.
