This is a photo of Greek Court, and it shows some of the many houses there are here at EIU. This is a great representation of community engagement through the Charleston community. As someone who is a part of Greek life, I can say that organizations like Greek life help with community engagement. Ways that it ensures that engagement is during homecoming week, fundraisers, community services, and many other philanthropic events. One way that it would benefit the community more is by hosting more events for the Charleston community to maintain and grow more connections for years to come. Another idea would be to open more fundraisers from organizations to the community to get more involvement between Greek life and Charleston.
