Description

Black and white photograph of several men standing in the building foundation site for Lincoln Hall, looking south from the northeast corner. President Robert Guy Buzzard is pictured behind and slightly to the left of the man in the dark suit at the microphone. The building in the distance is one of the barracks used for housing veterans following WWII.

Inscribed with the date 1950, the stone was placed directly behind where the pulley and tripod are shown in the photo. (See article in the Eastern State News: "Buzzard to Lay Cornerstone for Residence Halls Today," Wednesday, March 7, 1951, page 1.)
